Filipinos wish Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao best of luck for his fight today, June 29, 2008 to win the WBC lightweight title at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States over his opponent David Diaz.

If he could win this fight, Manny would be the first Asian to have different titles won in this sports. Good luck Manny.

The two fast-growing Filipino boxers are along with De La Hoya in his training under Freddie Roach as their trainer.

Manny Pacquiao kept his international WBC super featherweight title with an 8th-round knockout of Jorge Solis.

Pacquiao (44-3-2, 35 KOs), a congressional candidate in the Philippines, one knocking out on 6th round, dominated most of the bout and ended it by knocking out his Mexican opponent twice in the eighth round.

Solis (32-1-2), First time defeated in his tale tape history, couldn’t keep up with the fast pace moves of “Pacman” Pacquiao.
