HERE is the RESULT…
Only 28,924 out of 67,728 hopefuls passed December’s nursing licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission announced on Thursday.
The number of passers represents 43.42 percent of the total examinees. It is lower than the 48 percent passing rate in the June 2007 licensure test.
Among the passers were second takers from the controversial June 2006 exam that was tainted by an alleged leakage of the questionnaire.
The top performing schools in the latest exam include Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City, Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City, Mindanao State University in Lanao del Sur, University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City, and Palawan State University in Palawan.
The nursing licensure exam is a biannual event held every June and December in testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
