Miss Canada - Miss Earth 2007
The recently concluded Miss Earth 2007 happened here in the Paradise Philippines bring Miss Canada in the throne.

Jessica Trisko, is Miss Earth 2007, was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She is a first generation Canadian of Russo-Ukrainian and Filipino heritage. Jessica’s first language is English, but she also speaks Russian and basic French, says the official Miss Earth website. She represented Canada at Miss Earth 2007 on November 11. She previously joined Miss Universe Canada 2007 but lost to Inga Skaya.

Born in 2001 and organized by Carousel Productions, the Miss Earth pageant is now recognized as the 3rd largest beauty contest in the world (following Miss World and Miss Universe). The reigning titleholders dedicate their year to promote the event to address issues 
concerning the environment.
The 7th edition of the Miss Earth beauty pageant will take place in Manila, Philippines, from October 21st to November 11th. 95 beauties from all over the planet will gather in the host country to promote environmental causes. The reigning titleholder is 23-year old Hil Hernandez from Chile.
A group of delegates will participate in a 3-day visit to Vietnam. The finals took place at the University of the Philippines Theater.
