Unlimited calls is as always good but not to consumers

Here is the latest promo from Smart Communication to bamboozle its 38M subscribers.

What: Smartalk Unlimited Calls
When: Start: June 26, 2009
Expiration: October 2009
Where: In your cellphone with Smart Sim

Here’s how to avail. It is called Smartalk and has two variants, the Talk100 and Talk500.

Talk100 is available for 5 days unlimited calls. To register, type Talk100 and send to 6400. You should have enough load more than 100 to able to avail this and should receive a confirming text message that says “Welcome to SMARTALK… blah blah blah” and “Please maintain P1 airtime balance while enrolled in the promo.”

Now, you even proud to wear their company lanyards in your office.

Talk500 is available for 30 days unlimited calls. To register, type Talk500 and send to 6400. Again, you should have enough load more than 500 to avail this promo.

One more important thing. How to call? You need some little transformation of the number you are calling just like what BumbleBee and the rest of the gang do for their transformations. Just add *6400 to the 11 digit mobile no. Example (*640009186221621) Got it? Now you call me that is my mobile no. Haha.

Calls only apply to Smart to Smart and Smart to Talk ‘N Text. Calls from Talk ‘N Text to Smart is not included.

To distinguish if you are Smart or Talk ‘N Text, you should have known it since the first time of your usage. No, I am not kidding, but if you really don’t know, then just try to register the above here’s how and Smart will take care of it. Smart is so intelligent, it will respond if you are eligible to avail the promo or not. Not eligible, then probably you will be receiving a text message, “P1 charge for the invalid transaction” something like that, as always Smart does.

Recommendation:

Personally, I don’t recommend it but for the sake of art of experience you should try it by worse. I have availed the promo and the line is always choppy, busy sometimes, my phone says Invalid connection, connection error and starts redialing the number. That is why I called it a trick to Smart’s subscribers.

Update:

I cannot make calls in every first dialing attempt. My phone is like yelling “Hey stop it. The network is busy!” Network busy always appearing and you need to dial it for the second, third, fourth and so fort times.

I would rather create a custom lanyards and promote this extraordinary services for free.

In my case calls are not choppy, easy to connect but sometimes lines are busy.

@sawa_na@aol.com, did you know why that happened? because this service is FAKE!!! SMARTALK IS FAKE!why? according to:

Consumer group Consumer Complaints Center, Inc. has filed a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) against Smart Communications, Inc.’s promo “Smartalk,” calling it “deceptive” and “confusing.” Consumer Complaints Center President Vicente F. Gambito said his group has been receiving complaints about smartalk on the supposed poor service of the unlimited voice call promo smartalk. Mr. Gambito claimed the service bogged down during the first two weeks of implementation of smartalk, and that the *6400 service was unavailable for reasons such as the “phone was unattended” or “phone is outside of the coverage area”, but a connection could be made to an non Smartalk number using a regular call without the use of the prefix *6400 of smartalk. Also, attempts to subscribe to Smartalk during the period only resulted in receiving delayed messages saying the promo was unavailable at the time the registration was made.

THIS IS FACT! SMARTALK IS FAKE! THIS SHOULD SERVE AS A WARNING TO ALL!
